Sweet Es Cafe in Honolulu

Breakfast was highly recommended so we stopped by. So impressed during our first visit we stopped again a day later! Excellent food, large portions and great service! Breakfast like home! This place is the real deal!!!

Had the hash eggs Benedict and they were amazing. You have to try them!!! If only I could give six stars!

Great restaurant! Good variety on the menu. Food is very reasonably priced, and delicious. We had a burrito with pork, banana pancake, and a scrambled egg for our kiddo. Good portion sizes. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Highly recommend!!

I wish I could describe in words how fantastic this restaurant is. The only other place that I could compare this too is Maggie Mae's in Bellaire, FL. This makes my 6 star review for A) the quality of food B) how quick it came out and C) The service from the staff. I have never had better breakfast food in my life than here and the other restaurant I mentioned. I was with someone else and our order was brought out to us in probably less than 7 minutes. Beautifully presented on the plate. The staff always making sure our needs were being taken care of without being annoying.

Friendly staff! Delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed the All American Omelette, with hash browns with onions. My husband had the Extreme Mess. Both very delicious. Decent prices, too. Sidenote: if you like buttered toast, ask for it. No worries though, butter is on the table.

Best breakfast this island has ever seen!! Oh my god I loved it all so much, especially the hash brows and French toast!! My second day in Hawaii and I’ve already been there both days! The service was amazing too, you can tell it’s family owned and they all make you feel like a causal friend while you’re there!!

From the outside the place looks like a dive but don't let this fool you. The inside and bathrooms are very clean. The food is amazing. They were the best meals we had in all of Hawaii. You can tell that there is care put in to the prep and cooking. The staff is fast and very friendly. 6 stars if i could.

I've been visiting Sweet E's for nearly four years now, and the staff is mostly stayed the same, AND they're all very friendly! I recently misread the menu and thought I was ordering a BBQ sandwich (it was actually pizza) yet they easily made it into a sandwich and it was FANTASTIC! Two other staff members stopped by my table to ask what I had ordered (because it wasn't on the menu) and how it turned out. Love this place.

We ordered the famous messed up breakfast with 2 hot cups of coffee and We ordered the French toast stuffed with blueberries and cream cheese. That was a great meal and the staff for friendly. I definitely recommend this place!

Nice little breakfast spot! All the staff was verily attentive and made sure that everyone has what they need. I had the Pork omelette. Was very good, and also good serving size!

I can't believe I've lived here this long and never tried this place. "Plesantly suprised" is how I would describe my experience. The servers are all well practiced and attentive. Food was delicious and prepared quickly. Great food, great service, fair prices. I'm going back

So yeah the food isn’t half bad but if you want the worst service on the island come here. I have never received more attitude in my life. Asking for simple things such as napkins or coffee refill shouldn’t be seen as a chore when I am a paying customer. Not only has this service spoiled my morning it’s upsetting to be treated in such way. The coffee was spilled as it was being set without an apology and the check was thrown at us with such attitude. Worst experience, don’t ever come here.

One of the best place to grab breakfast. And price is reasonable. The parking situation is not the best. Its always packed so there is almost always no parking.

Wow! A MUST EAT! We absolutely love this place!!! The food was excellent, coffee wonderfully strong, the atmosphere cozy and the staff friendly and personable. Our only regret is that we didn't eat here sooner!

Best corned beef hash benedict I've ever had. The corned beef was crispy and flavorful but not too salty. Most places over do it with the salt but this was spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly and the breakfast fried rice was phenomenal so definitely upgrade to that. Their unsweet iced tea was also super flavorful and refreshing. We got the side order of the blueberry stuffed french toast and I was really impressed. The filling had the perfect amount of cheesiness and blueberries. We stopped in on a Monday morning around 9am and were seated immediately. Their parking lot is very small but there's street parking available on the side of the building. The service was on point and we were able to have a quick breakfast!

First time here but saw the star rating. Been on the hunt for a good eggs Benedict. Waiters very attentive. Food A+. Super stoked I found this. Super busy Friday morning. Parking a little tight so look to the street. Place is awesome sauce

Brother this is a great spot! Amazing food and some of the best coffee on the island! A must go for anyone looking for the chill down to earth spot with friendly staff and great food.

Staffs were very kind. The food was also very delicious, especially the potatoes ordered with the omelette. I was glad to have a Korean employee(I especially liked "아빠"). There are pictures of him and his family all over the wall, so it's nice to watch.

Definitely my favorite breakfast/brunch spot. This place has got it all, friendly servers, fast service, delicious food, fun atmosphere, great price points, a lil parking lot which is always nice here, and to top it off, it's BYOB. Would recommend. 5/5 stars. 2 thumbs way up. Great job guys.

Finally able to make a review, came here with my friend on a trip from Alaska. This place is so amazing. We where so thankful we found this spot. The food was fresh and we felt like locals. Our waiter was so nice seemed family owned, everyone was happy working together always smiling and that alone makes me feel welcome. When I visit again this is top on my list.

Definitely a must go in Oahu! Their breakfast burritos, Eggs Benedict and their blueberry and cream cheese stuffed French toast is just mouthwatering delicious! Officially one of our favorite spots on the Island. Will definitely be back. I wasn't a big fan of their breakfast sandwich because it was so plain and ehh but they deserve a 5 start because majority of what we ordered was soooo good! My husband had the Portuguese Sausage Burrito (YUMMY) by the way and I ended up eating his! Haha Also, be prepared for a little wait because they are very popular and do get busy at times.

I went here on a Sunday morning and was extremely pleased. They have a valet service upon arrival and a waiting area. I had to wait maybe a half hour but it was well worth it. This place is a smaller more local type restaurant, but the food does not disappoint. They are very generous with their servings and the pancakes here are some of the softest and fluffiest I have come across. They can probably be cut with a spoon. Overall food and service was great. I will be going again for sure.

First time here at this restaurant and it was amazing!! Seating areas inside and outside for dining. Food is great and plenty to choose from. Bathrooms...cleanest restrooms I have ever been in. Parking is like any place, limited and hard to find. Overall Sweet E's Café is now on the GOTO place to eat, especially for breakfast

Hiked the crater and one of the staff at the Monument said the walk to Sweet E's was worth the walk just because of the coffee. The additional two mile walk was WORTH THE EFFORT! Great environment, not hurried but busy and efficient. The spinach, mushroom and feta omelette was perfectly prepared and great coffee kept coming. When on the island fruit and especially berries can be hard to find yet they must have a great source. My wife had the pancakes and smiled all the way through.

Only had the Kailua Pork Eggs Benedict and a coffee. That being said very delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will come back.

Service was excellent. I split 2 entrees with my wife and the staff served it that way with out me asking. The food was as good as the service. Top notch brunch place.

This place is so amazing. All the dishes are very delicious. You must try one of the many scrumptious omelets. The breakfast burritos are in sanely good I had one today. We also had the Belgian waffle with fruit so tasty. We had a delicious refreshing salad made with fresh local style greens. And we also had a side order of their amazing fried rice. They are very efficient and the wait is not long at all even though there's a lot of people outside. Needless to say I highly recommend sweet e's for your breakfast cravings.

The food was amazing and the staff were all very nice. My sister and I split the Traditional Eggs Benedict and the Blueberry Stuffed French Toast and it was delicious and enough food to share. My dad got the Extreme Mess and my mom got the Banana Stuffed French Toast and they both enjoyed it. We also asked for the coconut sauce for the toast and it was delicious. You do have to bring your own alcohol, however they were super nice and brought out an ice bucket for our champagne that we used to make mimosas

A nice place to have breakfast away from Waikiki. Friendly fast service and good sized servings. We ordered the breakfast burrito and French toast. There is a parking lot out the front. The cafe is located close to Leonard’s.

It doesn't get much better! We spent 6 days in Waikiki. We had planned to have breakfast at multiple locations during our stay, but after eating at Sweet E's we stopped here 3 days during our stay. The service is amazing and so smooth. The food is incredible. I'd recommend the Blueberry Stuffed french Toast, or the Extreme Mess! I have 3 young kids and they are very picky eaters, and they were dying to come back! Highly recommended!

Fantastic breakfast! Huge hot chocolate. The whip cream was as big as the cup. My son loved it. Pancakes and French toast were great. My family loved the French toast with banana and the blueberry and cream cheese. Really friendly service. All at reasonable prices! Thank you.

Best breakfast I had during my trip. My family actually ate here 2 times during our six day trip because the breakfast was so good. The corned beef was so good and the stuffed French toast blew my mind. Oh and the dudes all working there are straight hustling so you never feel lime you were forgotten. Overall this place is awesome.

Excellent. Food and service is always great. A little loud at times, but that fits in with their relaxed, family atmosphere. They followed CDC guidelines, but were still able to give a friendly dining experience.

All the yes to this place. This was our first stop when we got in. Everything was delicious. We brought in a bottle of champagne to make mimosas. The food was delicious. They were more than willing to split plates between us which was nice. Very accommodating and friendly service!
